Mr. Berg is a licensed Private Investigator in the state of New York and New Jersey. He has investigated and determined the origin and cause of more than 2,800 fires including commercial structures, residential structures, marine, vehicles, and heavy construction equipment. He has also testified on numerous occasions involving the investigation of fires in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Mr. Berg entered the field of fire service in 1981. His professional career includes 33 years of experience in fire suppression, building inspection, code enforcement, hazardous material, and fire and explosion investigations. He was an active member of the Connecticut Fire Marshals Association, New England Fire Marshals Association, and a member of the Stamford Connecticut Arson Task Force. He also served as a Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Lieutenant in the City of Stamford, Connecticut for over 28 years.
