Mr. Kiet Nguyen is a Project Engineer with over 10 years of experience within the forensics engineering arena. His training and experiences include assessments of structural and foundation damages, building inspections and forensic assessment on both residential and commercial structures, as well as construction estimating, utilizing his proficiency in Xactimate for repair estimates. He also has experience performing cause and origin investigations regarding weather related roof damages, stucco damage, water infiltration cause and origin, and displacement related distress. Additionally, he has experience in fenestration assessments and other construction related deficiencies to commercial buildings and multi-structure residential communities. Furthermore, he has commenced and observed field water testing to fenestrations according to industry standards. Mr. Nguyen also has experience in the assessment of subsurface soil conditions with geophysical testing equipment’s, collecting soil samples for geotechnical lab testing, and utilizing Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to observe ground characteristics.
