He is a certified Fire Investigator with the IAAI of Colorado as well as an instructor/educator in the state of Colorado, and currently serves on the Elizabeth Fire Protection District Board Member, tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the Fire District provides an acceptable level of fire and life safety service to the community. Rick also received numerous Medal of Valor awards from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Littleton Fire Department, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), for his work involving the Columbine High School response.
