In June, our teams in the US and UK grew with the addition of four new experts! Our three US-based experts have joined the Fire & Explosion, Mechanical, and Civil/Structural divisions, and our London expert joined the Electrical division.
Meet Envista’s Newest Additions!
Billy Donovan
Consultant, Mechanical (Columbus, OH)
Billy Donovan is a Consultant in the Mechanical division, following his internship at Envista in the summer of 2023. He has conducted investigations concerning HVAC, plumbing, and failure analysis. His expertise spans commercial, residential, and manufacturing sectors, supported by proficiency in software including SOLIDWORKS, Ansys Fluent, and Arduino.
Fun Fact: I play the guitar.
Jeff Krichten, IAAI-FIT, IAAI-ECT, IAAI-CFI, NAFI-CFEI
Consultant, Fire & Explosion (Philadelphia, PA)
Jeffrey Krichten has over 16 years of experience in the fire service. He served as a volunteer Firefighter before working two years with the City of Chester. He also served 9.5 years with the City of Myrtle Beach from Firefighter to Engineer/ACO. Jeffrey has assisted the Fire Marshals Office with fire investigations for nearly seven years. He is an IAAI Certified Fire Investigator and a NAFI Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator. He earned his Bachelor of Science at Eastern Kentucky University in Fire, Arson, Explosion Investigation, and Criminal Justice, and also attended the National Fire Academy for various fire investigation classes.
Fun Fact: I am an Eagle Scout.
Paul McGonagle, CEng, MIET
Principal Consultant, Electrical (London, UK)
Paul McGonagle is a chartered electrical engineer with over 30 years of industry experience. Paul returned to higher education in 1994 and graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in 1998. Having completed an accredited professional development scheme with National Air Traffic Services (NATS), he was incorporated by the Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2002. A large portion of Paul's work has been in the renewable energy sector, which has moved from the margins to the mainstream. In the last 15 years, this has involved technical due diligence, report writing, and working closely with the Legal, Financial, and Insurance sectors to ensure standards of workmanship and equipment are fit for purpose in the emerging renewable sector.
Fun Fact: I captained my school to two all Ireland finals (u16 and U18).
Wil Wright, PE
Project Engineer, Civil/Structural (Philadelphia, PA)
Wil Wright is a Project Engineer with over eight years of civil/structural engineering experience including three years of transportation research and consulting, as well as five years in both primary design and condition assessments of educational, commercial, and healthcare buildings. Wil has experience directing structural repair efforts from initial investigations through construction administration and extensive experience with steel structural design and analysis including connection design. He has conducted research in corrosion-resistant materials and has advanced expertise in concrete condition assessment. He is licensed as a professional engineer in Virginia and is in the process of applying to bordering states in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Fun Fact: I speak fluent Spanish after living in Central America for several years.
