Envista Forensics Awarded Two Canadian Lawyer Reader’s Choice Awards
TORONTO – Nov. 13, 2019 – Envista Forensics, a global forensic engineering and consulting firm, was selected for two Reader’s Choice Awards from Canadian Lawyer. The fifth annual awards were published this week and let nearly 2,000 readers cast their votes to select the top vendors or suppliers based on service or product.
Envista was selected for top Civil & Structural Forensic Engineering Expert Witness and Top Cyber Security Consulting firm in the Financial Services and Consulting category. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to be selected alongside other top-tier organizations,” said Ron Koerth, Senior Vice President, Forensic Consulting, Canada.
The publication reviews everything from legal tech products, to business valuation services, to legal research. The ballot listed nearly 300 products and service vendors, and Canadian Lawyer pulled out the top three.
Envista expanded their cyber and digital forensics practice group into Canada about a year ago and has since already acquired a top spot. “Globally expanding cyber security and incident response, as well as digital forensics, has been a focus for Envista for a number of years. We actually started in this space more than 30 years ago, and today, we have some of the best experts in the business,” said Jason Bergerson, Director, Digital Forensics.
Along with their nod for cyber, the company was also awarded for their efforts in civil and structural. The company has several civil and structural engineers across the country with offices in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. They provide help on all types of cases including civil or structural failure, construction defect, geotechnical, course of construction or dispute, clerk of the works, among many others.
