Benjamin Eigner, IAAI-CFI, P.I.
Principal Consultant, Fire (Seattle, WA)
Benjamin Eigner is a Principal Consultant and expert witness for the legal, industrial, and insurance industries. He is a Certified Fire Investigator with the International Association of Arson Investigators and the National Association of Fire Investigators and specializes in determining the origin and cause of fires and explosions.
Mark Evans, CEng FIMechE
Principal Consultant – Major Loss, Mechanical (Woking, Surrey)
Mark Evans is a Principal Consultant with a comprehensive track record of maintenance engineering and operational management within the steel manufacturing industry. He has significant project management experience in high-pressure environments and has gained experience in senior roles in the chemical and rail industry. At Envista, Mark will conduct investigations following incidents involving complex industrial and manufacturing equipment and systems.
Rich Farris, AIA
Senior Consultant, Civil/Structural (Dallas, TX)
Rich Farris is an architect with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He is knowledgeable in waterproofing, building envelope, and all types of building construction. He has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, where construction issues can often be extremely demanding. His work experience includes managerial positions at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and he has also worked for major design firms in Los Angeles, New York, Houston, and Dallas. Rich has a depth of knowledge conducting forensic architectural investigations following hurricanes and other weather events, explosions, fires, lightning, as well as builder’s risk incidents. At Envista, Rich’s broad background allows him to consult on a wide range of customer needs, including building consulting, CAT work, estimating, and forensics.
Daniel Geraldson
Senior Building Consultant, Building Consulting (Dallas, TX)
Daniel Geraldson is a large loss property claims professional experienced in conducting damage assessment, scope development, and repair/reconstruction. He has experience estimating large and complex commercial and residential property losses resulting from water, wind, hail, fire, mold, sewer/water backup, environmental/biohazard, theft, vehicle impact, and vandalism.
Fares Ghannam, SE, PE, LEED AP
Project Engineer, Civil/Structural (Detroit, MI)
Fares Ghannam is a licensed structural engineer and professional engineer in several states. He has more than 20 years of structural engineering experience conducting analysis, design, inspection, and on-site construction administration for large-scale automotive, industrial, commercial, healthcare, and aviation projects.
John Hodgson
Principal Consultant – Major Loss, Civil/Structural (Woking, Surrey)
John Hodgson brings to Envista 35 years of experience designing and evaluating structures, as well as a depth of knowledge with various codes and standards. He has expertise in retrofitting buildings and structures to extend their life, along with assessing design/construction defects or damage. Over the last 20 years, John has provided expert technical advice on how best to make their facilities safe. He has provided similar expertise on how best to repair after events, such as earthquakes, explosions, fires, soil settlements, and ground-bearing capacity failures. Much of John’s work involves design reviews based either on others’ design work, as-built drawings, or site surveys/investigations.
Logan Mynar
Building Consultant, Building Consulting (Houston, TX)
Logan Mynar is a Building Consultant with four years of experience performing site inspections, including measuring and organizing field data, preparing photo reports, and presenting property loss data. Previously Logan worked in the legal industry as a Law Clerk and Insurance Defense Attorney, where he gained experience working with insurance claims, loss adjustments, and lawsuits.
Mark Nash, IAAI-CFI
Principal Consultant, Fire (Richmond, VA)
Mark Nash has over 25 years of proven court – tested experience as a fire origin and cause investigator. He has personally investigated over 1,000 fire incidents in Virginia and Tennessee. These investigations have involved significant property loss and serious bodily injury, resulting in complex liability and/or subrogation issues. Mark has responded to large loss fires as an Accelerant Detector Canine Handler as part of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, National Response Team since January of 2008. He has participated in over 200 training/demonstration live burns.
Jason Oscienny, B.S.c.
Project Consultant, Environmental and Industrial Hygiene (Toronto, ON)
Jason Oscienny is a Project Consultant with over three years of experience working in the environmental, health, and safety industry, and ten years of experience working in the construction industry. At Envista, Jason works with contractors, insurance adjusters, and homeowners to delineate the extent of environmental, health, and safety hazards generated from losses that may pose a risk to those involved and to the environmental factors that surround them.

Project Consultant, Civil/Structural (Tampa, FL)
Ritush Pahari is a Project Consultant with over five years of experience in forensic engineering. He possesses skills in a wide range of engineering expertise with extensive knowledge of structural problems and failures. He has experience performing structural forensic analysis of building systems, materials, and components. Ritush has performed post-hurricane structural assessments of various residential and commercial structures to determine the extent of damage.
