He has extensive experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, and experience working on high-security Ministry of Defense (MoD) and United States Visiting Forces (USVF) sites, which allowed him to become familiar with handling sensitive and confidential information. At Envista, Mr. Parker is responsible for investigating the causation of failures, damages, and defects across industrial, residential and commercial sectors. Utilising technical expertise developed over eight years in the industry, he analyses the failures of systems, buildings, and equipment, determining the cause of failures and evaluating the quality of construction by reviewing design documentation and maintenance procedures, as well as remediation, reinstatement and restoration options. This includes working alongside restoration companies and manufacturers to ensure that any restoration option includes recertification and reinstatement of existing warranties. In previous roles, Thomas has gained significant experience in the maritime sector, working in a number of ports across Europe, he has investigated and supervised refurbishment and replacement works of moveable structures such as lock gates, swing bridges, Ro-Ro linkspans, Sea Port Boarding Bridges (SPBB) and Dry Docks.
